Because Christian's believe in the resurrection, death is the gateway to life eternal. Someone's life isn't ended when they die, just changed.

We beleive this at St Teilo's and as such the funeral service has four focuses

1. To remember what the Bible says about death.

2. To celebrate the life of the person.

3. To pray for the soul of the person and all their families and friends.

4. To ask God to receive the person into his safe-keeping.
